The phone vibrated again. Another notification. Another picture. His "Serpent's Kiss" print, now inked on a stranger’s shoulder. Daniel let out a frustrated grunt, a sound that seemed too loud in the empty apartment.

He pulled at the collar of his shirt. He was sweating. A restless energy consumed him. He felt like he was constantly in motion, even when he was still. He spun in place.

He needed to fix it. He grabbed his keys, the metal cold in his palm. He had to find them, whoever had done this. He had to make them understand. He was going to find the person who did this.
